Overview
Your My Account dashboard is the central hub for managing your Upstart loans and in‑progress applications. From here you can review balances, update payment methods, view your loan documents, and more. This article walks you through signing in and finding key information in your My Account.
1. Go to the Upstart login page
Open any browser on a computer or mobile phone and navigate to upstart.com/login.
2. Enter your email address
Type the email associated with your loan account into the Email field.
3. Choose a sign‑in method
Password:
- Enter your account password in the Password field.
One‑time passcode (no password required):
- Select Log in without a password.
- Request for a login link to be sent to the email address you provided.
- We’ll send a login link to that email—usually within a minute.
- Click the link in your inbox to complete the login process.
✨ Note: The login link expires after 15 minutes. If you don’t receive it or the link expires, click Resend to try again.
4. Click Log in
After entering your password or using the secure login link, you’ll be taken directly to your My Account dashboard.
5. Review your loan summary tiles
Once inside My Account, you’ll see a separate tile for each funded loan or loan application.
Each tile shows:
- Loan product (e.g., Personal Loan, Auto Refinance Loan)
- Loan ID
- Original principal amount or the funding amount requested in your application
- Funding date (for funded loans) or Application start date
- Lending‑partner bank or credit union
💡 Note: If you have multiple loans, each appears in its own tile—you’ll manage them individually.
6. Explore additional loan offers
Links to apply for other Upstart loan products may appear beneath your tiles. Clicking a link starts a new rate check.
7. Manage a funded loan
Click a loan tile to:
- Update bank accounts & payment preferences
- Make one‑time payments or enroll in AutoPay
- Check payoff information or request a payoff quote
8. Resume an application
Click an application tile to pick up right where you left off in the application process.
✨ Note: If your account has only a single in-progress application on file, you will be returned to your place rather than seeing the My Account summary.
9. Use the account menu
Select your name in the upper‑right corner to:
- View account notices and documents
- Update privacy or text‑message preferences
- Edit your contact details (email, password, two‑factor settings)
- Return to the dashboard (My Account)
- Log out
