Cash Line: Subscription and statements

Overview

📌 Note: This article applies specifically to Cash Line accounts.
Cash Line works differently from other Upstart loan products.

Cash Line includes a monthly subscription fee, which is required to maintain access to your line of credit and take draws.

How the Subscription Works

  • The first subscription fee is charged at account opening.
  • If you do not take a draw during your first billing cycle, that initial subscription fee will be refunded.

Subsequent subscription fees:

  • Are added at the end of each billing cycle.
  • Are due on your statement due date.

AutoPay for Subscription Fees

AutoPay is available for the subscription fee only.

📌 Subscription payments:

  • Must be made in a single transaction.
  • Cannot be split across multiple payments.

Statements

Each month, your statement will show a breakdown of your balance, including:

  • Subscription fee
  • Any outstanding draw amount

Statements are generated at the end of each billing cycle and can be accessed through your account.

Account Status and Access

If your account becomes past due:

  • Your subscription may be impacted.
  • Your ability to take draws may be restricted until your balance is brought current.

Canceling Your Subscription

To cancel your subscription:

  1. Log in to the Upstart mobile app.
  2. Navigate to the subscription section.
  3. Select Cancel Subscription.

📌 Keep in mind:

  • Any outstanding balance must still be repaid.
  • Cash Line is currently a beta service and may not be available to resubscribe at this time.

Additional Subscription Details

  • Subscription due dates cannot be changed.
  • Subscription pauses are not available.

Billing Disputes

If you believe there is an error on your statement, you may submit a billing dispute for review.

To protect your rights, your dispute must be submitted in writing within 60 days of the error appearing on your statement.

Please send your written dispute to:

Upstart Network, Inc.
P.O. Box 1503
San Carlos, CA 94070

Your dispute should include:

  • Your name and account number.
  • The dollar amount of the suspected error.
  • A description of the issue and why you believe it is incorrect.

Once your dispute is received:

  • You’ll receive acknowledgment within 30 days.
  • The investigation will be completed within 90 days.

While the investigation is pending:

  • You do not have to pay the disputed amount.
  • You are still responsible for the remaining balance.

📌 Note:
If you have general questions about your account or payments, you can contact support through your account for assistance.
